WardRobe Styling

After a successful bridal styling session, Jessica came back to us for help curating her closet. She found new confidence after stepping out of her comfort zone for her wedding and wanted to bring that energy into her closet. We sourced multiple outfits and Jessica loved them all so much, she kept every piece.

What she had to say about the session

“After Curated Life designed my wedding, even though I had never thought I would ever get married in white, looking and feeling like a winter queen, they made me realize how good it felt to dare getting out of my comfort zone and how much confidence I had.

Then, as far as I remember, had never enjoyed shopping for clothes. I always had a darker style, I'm daring and willing to try anything but I'm simple and busy so I never really knew or cared about what would fit better than my favourite "As I Lay Dying" band shirt with holes that I had to restitch 4 times in 14 years. I had a few "professional" looking pieces but I've always went with the "I walk in the store, it looks nice, it looks like it fits, I'll buy it and use it until it's fully worn-out" type.

This said I wanted to try it again, I trusted Curated Life once and, they exceeded the expectations I didn't even know I had so I just went with it! They measured me, asked me what I liked, what I'd like to try, what style I find interesting, the colors i liked.

Then from garçonne, professional serious, male k-pop artist styles, loose cover, tight under, to hunter green, red, black and white and a touch of "I trust you, surprise me!" their magic just happened!”

Bridal Styling

Jess came to us asking for help with all things wedding three and a half weeks before her wedding date.  Jess visualized a dark, grunge vibe to her nuptials with no ideas of a dress, flowers, pictures, or groom attire.  Jess had just celebrated a milestone in her weight loss journey and had no concept of fit for her new body.

Through conversations and understanding of Jess's vision to taking her on a journey of rediscovering herself, Jess transformed her initial vision into a story of the Princess Bride. With a tight timeline and covid difficulties, we got creative to style Jess on her big day.

With a limited budget we thrifted, DIY’d, and Amazon’ed her look which fit her timeless edge perfectly.  Jess splurged on a pair of boots for her big day from Brown’s, a decision she never regretted!

Jess's wedding turned into a timeless event she will have fond memories looking back on.

TESTIMONIAL

"Sabrina and Kristin curated the most glamourous, shiny, feminine, and stunning wedding I ever thought of doing. For your devotion to finding the best items and fitting in every little detail, I am truly blessed and grateful for the help.  From the venue to decorations to the dress and suits, it was all more than I could have ever put together on my own.  You two made me discover a part of myself I didn't even know, and I'm so thankful for this. It was truly memorable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
