Adrienne

Being moved by the pandemic into a permanent home office, Adrienne became bored by the drab little room she was using as her new workspace. She had the right basics like a suitable desk, shelving and all the office basics but not enough organizational solutions and absolutely no style and decor to keep her inspired every day.

We started by getting a couple of photos and measurements, then interviewed Adrienne to see what interior design style really excited her and what she wanted to be surrounded by.

Once we had her budget, a solid sense of her aesthetic and needs for the space, we got to work. With a modest budget, we were able to work with Adrienne’s core pieces, add some stylish organizational items and some mid-century-inspired decor.

The result was a transformation of her "covid office" into a cozy and professional work suite.

"I provided the Curated Life team with a next-to-nothing budget and a dream of turning my newly pandemic appointed office into a place that excited me. The space is small, but I have big organizational needs and am challenged without a typical professional desk that has storage and filing space. My taste runs to mid-century modern and is playful and light-hearted. With what I provided, I asked for the team to go for it and do a reveal at the end! When they opened the door, I was stunned by how they transformed the space. I think my first words were, "This is so me... but better!". They rearranged, brought in the most beautiful decor, lighting and drapery. Still, sweetest of all was they found a way to update and include precious family mementos and artwork I thought would be banished to storage. I could not be happier with the experience."
