Winter Hydration

Tips and tricks on keeping your skin hydrated during the winter months 

Limit the length of your showers 

  • The warmth of the hot water may be soothing, but the heat in the water dries the oils out of your skin.

  • Use lukewarm to medium heat during your shower, and if you are brave, finish off with a 30-second cold shot.

  • Limit your shower to 5-10 minutes, dry your skin, and immediately apply moisturizing. You want to trap the moisture in your skin.
